The founder and owner, Dave Seavy, is no stranger to the security
and audio/video field. He owned and operated a security firm in
the twin cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, then moved to
Rochester MN in 1986 to become the Chief Engineer of a local
radio station. After a freak accident inside an FM broadcast
transmitter (a shock of nearly 8000 volts) left him with a mild TBI,
he decided to get out of high-voltage environments and
concentrate on his skills in the security and surveillance industry.
With his background in computer automation systems in the
broadcast environment, and his electrical engineering skills, it
was a shoe-in for him to get back in to the world of security
systems. He's a ham radio operator - call sign KC0UCN. Dave's
also been a funeral director for many years and is currently
authoring a book about his accident and life
with a traumatic brain injury.
Working for many years out of his home
got tiring, and he decided in October of
2006 to open a retail outlet to compliment
the business. The store, located at 838
S Broadway in Rochester (in the Soldier
Field Plaza), is small but very efficient.
You'll find a wide variety of

related equipment - all at very reasonable
prices.
"Our location is central, and I'm keeping it lean so that prices
can remain within the budget of the working person," says
Seavy. "I work hard for my money, and other working people do
the same, so I want to provide services that we can all afford."
